That is normal! It means your are still human!

I almost passed out in my first OR rotation in nursing school.

But now, its no big deal! So I guess I am no longer human, and I have become a nurse! ;)

Anyways, I wouldn't give up on it right away.

what are the best nursing schools?

Most facilities aren't really picky about the nursing school you came from, so long as it is accredited. Usually though, your best bet is to chose a school that has a long history (not a new school - cause I've seen nurses come out of them that aren't up to par...)

Where ever you live, if you really want a good recommendation, ask a nurse from your state, or don't be shy! - call the HR department at a hosptial, and ask them if there are local school that they prefer to hire from or any that they avoid. this should give you a good idea!

But usually if a school has been established for 30-40 or more years, odds are that is because they are a good school. Another thing you can do is call the school and ask for their NCLEX-RN pass rates! All schools know these because they get reimbursed more for the higher percentage of 1st time passes!

Good Luck!
