Blinn College ADN - Spring 2026

Published

Starting this thread for the admissions process of Blinn's 2025 Spring semester Nursing Program. I saw a few threads from the past about test scores, GPA and overall chances on admission that helped me so I figured this might help someone else too! I just applied.

If you are in a alternative list do they email you that you are an alternative or denied at first then an email?

I believe you would receive an email stating you are on the alternate list, and if you got denied then it would just state that with no following emails.. If you are on the alternate list- I read somewhere that you can contact the office to see what number you are in line

Did you receive anything yet?

Did y'all receive your decision?

I got on the alternate list, did anyone else receive their decision? I have asked the office what number I am in line, but they have not responded yet.

I got in yesterday around 4pm.. It stated that acceptances are due by Oct 31, so I assume those on the alt. list will hear back around then!

I'm curious to how you got 31 points. I estimated 30 points and had 3.2 GPA with 78% TEAS. Which I would figure would be much lower than your 87 TEAS score but it was just 1 point away. Did you do patho? Did you score all the minimum scores for the all TEAS sections? Or how did everyone go based on because I didn't have much point difference with some but my scores were far too low.

I just estimated those points on my own, it could be more or could be less, but I did take Patho and got only the 3 points from the TEAS and I do have all of the 7 courses required done. Are you saying my points should be less or more?

Hi, I would expect you to have more than me is what I meant because of your high TEAS score! There's still hope if you are in the alternate list. I heard around 18 got in last year. Have hope and goodluck.

Hi! Thank you, that gives me some hope. Have you received your decision yet?
