Bioethics paper

I'm taking a bioethics course this summer. One of the assignments is to write a 1500-2000 word paper. I am having trouble choosing a topic. I'd like to write about the role of medical professionals in executions/lethal injections, but there just isn't much literature out there on it. Can anybody suggest ideas for a paper where there is a good amount of literature available?

a couple of topics that come to mind would be

* stem cell research

* assisted suicide

* abortion

* mandated vaccinations - especially for school aged children

I hesitate to do assisted suicide because that is one of the topics we discussed in class. Abortion and mandated vaccinations are good.
