In a 2 month old with no prior history of hyperbilirubinemia?

If you think it out, you may have some ideas.

Is the baby breastfeeding? (if this is for school, I don't want to give you the answers right out. Think about or look up breastfeeding/jaundice.)

I might consider calling a Gi and/or neuro. because

1. GI doc might help. (think about the organ that processes the cells. YOu may need to refer to maternity nursing notes.

2. Neuro might help (again, look up jaundice and brain issues.)

Good luck!

Your healthcare provider will be able to help you. Any pediatrician should be able to handle this.
