Bevill State Community College Summer 17' Applicants

Hello everyone

So I applied for the summer RN program at the Hamilton campus. Has anyone else applied? I'm sitting on eggshells already and the deadline was yesterday lol. Does anyone know how many people they accept?

But here's the thing. I didn't know that bevil accept transfer grade of a "d". I took pre cal algebra at another school and made a D. I hope that doesn't count in my gpa.

Is that class higher than Math 100 ( college algebra) ? If not they aren't gone look at that anyway and if you didn't make a C in it they aren't going to accept that you would have to take it again.....Girl i got so many D's on my transcript from my first go around of college. Lol i don't even remember when I got them. Please don't ask me how I don't know cause I thought I was focused but guess not. I'm just happy I got As and Bs in my classes I need for nursing. Now I did get a C in my math class that they accept for the program. I took quanitative reasoning which is higher than the Math 100 they want so that is going to count as part of my GPA. So yea they only look at the course required for the program not all those history's I made D's in lol. I actually thought I was good in History guess not lol....but yea I think you have to make at least a. C in order for them to take it anyway. Call and see ask them is that math higher than math 100 and if so is it going to be counted towards your nursing GPA admission score?

That class was math 112.

Yea I would call and see are they going to even count that towards your admissions score. My guess is that they are but you would still have to take math again and probably math 100 this time

That's what I'm hoping that I can just take math 100 my first semester of nursing school. I just hope i get in though.

Yeah we have but that moment when you read your acceptance letter you will then realize it was all worth it.

I think this forum help pass time by pretty well til April. Now that its April is here its really going to seem like forever. Let the nervous gas began ( butterflies) lol. I think we have one guy in the group BG71

Guess what ladies?? I called bevill today and they said that they will start reviewing applications Tuesday.

So they may mail letters out next Wednesday/Thursday and we should get them the week of the 9th
