Does anybody have any insight regarding working at Beverly Hospital/Northeast Health System? I had heard of union members picketing recently. Thanks

STAY AWAY!!!!! I worked there VERY briefly and ran with my nursing license still intact. They are ALL about customer service. It's "Hotel Beverly." They even have customer service as a requirement on their job postings. They put customer service over patient safety and do NOT care what nursing's rationale was if the patient complains. They will NOT go up to bat for you and you pay weekly union dues to a union that does not back you against them. It takes 4 months to be considered a vested union member even though they start collecting dues from your first week of employment, and the "company" thinks nothing of cutting you loose a few days before your vesting if they need to make budget cuts. Protect your license and find employment elsewhere.

They picket all the time..... usually at Addison Gilbert in Gloucester. VERY TOUGH crowd to break into...... both staff and administration.........Many ED administration/managers and directors have fallen..........I believe at least 3 directors, 4 managers, 4 trauma coordinators and 2 educators in 5 years. Excecutive management/board of directors VERY difficult to deal with....it's their way or the highway.......and HR......has some pretty unusual hiring/firing tactics amd morals.......personal knowledge.

If you're in .....you're in. If not.....buy a burial plot. If you don't have eyes in the back of your head? Get on a transplant list so you can see when someone is stabbing you in the back.:smokin:
