It depends on your situation, but the typical route to NP would be BSN to MSN. Becoming a CNA is great as far as learning what the patient care environment looks like, and it may or may not get your foot in the door for a job after graduation. There is no guarantee. As far as ADN/BSN, as a high school graduate you likely have few to no college credits, so you may as well go straight for your BSN as you'll need that to get your MSN.

I am a freshman in high school and I want to become a Nurse Practioner. Now I'm not sure if I should get a BSN, work as an RN and get my masters, then get a job as a NP.. Or should I get cna-lpn-asn-bsn-rn-np. Thanks!
