would getting my AAS first, start working and than doing an Accelerated BSN program be a smart route?
Accelerated BSN programs are for people who already have a Bachelor's degree in another field. You could certainly get your ADN/ASN and then do an RN-BSN program, but that is making the assumption that you would be able to find work as an associate's degree RN, and that is less likely than it was 5 or 10 years ago, depending upon where you live. If you are certain you want to be a CNM, then my recommendation is to go right into a BSN program, rather than doing the ADN-BSN route.

I need some advice on the best way to become a Certified Nurse Midwife.
I will graduate high school in May, and am currently researching nursing programs.
I heard of AAS, BS, BSN but I'm kind of confused about all of them.
anyone that has gone through the system? what are the pros/cons of each program?
any insight will be greatly appreciated!
