Hey everyone. What's a good tape recorder you would recommend to record lectures, notes, voice recordings and things similar? Making an early Christmas list, and I'm hoping to be accepted into my school's nursing program in january. So I'm adding to this list

1) Littman Stethoscope (recommend me any?)

2) Tape Recorder

3) Erin Condren Planner

And if you have anything else to add feel free.

Sure this might be a little pre-mature, but I think I have a good chance of getting in.

Only 60 applicants this semester, with 70 seats. I have a 3.7 GPA. I just need to do really well in Chemistry and Developmental Psych classes I'm taking right now.

Also would it be silly to use a Nike gym bag as my school bag? I usually use my black leather messenger bag, but I don't think it will hold everything including snacks and what not.

1. Eh you can go with a cheaper steth for your time in school and then get a really nice one for graduation :) That's what I ended up doing/will do. So instead of paying the noncompetitive price (they market extremely well) for a Littman, I got a Prestige Medical and MDF (the prestige was free). It's fine for auscultating breath and heart sounds in the learning environment and I am already like running all over and doing my best to remember things, so IF I misplace my current steths I won't be as upset as a good Littman. And if I'm going to pay the money for a littman, it's going to be a cardiology one! (although you can search nursing groups for people selling used littmans, which I see common on facebook at least, and get around average for $25 cheaper)

2. I bought this: Coredy DGV-100M Professional Digital HD Voice Activated Recorder Stereo Mp3 Player HQ and SP Recording Modes Telephone Conversations Recording.

I got it because it was inexpensive. It's fine. A little confusing to configure though.

3. Nice. I got the Saunders Student Guide planner. It's pretty good with info in the beginning but overpriced and you can't add pages.

I think a gym bag would tear with the size of these books. Most of my classmates don't carry our books to school though, but when you have to....

I got the JanSport big student backpack. Only one that will hold my huge binder and books.
