So, I am wanting to buy the TEAS V study manual (ISBN: 978-1-933107-98-1) that my instructor suggests, but it's getting really crappy reviews on amazon by other nursing instructors! They say that when they use this review manual that their students get lower scores than they would using other materials/study guides. What study guides have you used that have really helped?
Thanks!

I just took the TEAS in October and I only used the ATI study guide you listed. I read each section completely and took the 2 practice tests in the back of the book. The only section that is lacking is the science section, but it does touch upon each area that is on the exam. If you have recently taken a Biology and Chemistry class then you will be prepared for the science section.

I would not agree with those reviews, the study guide is published by the same company who creates the test. It touches on every subject that can possibly be on the test, however it is just a guide. Anything you do not understand you should go online and study more in depth. I would also suggest buying the practice tests online that are created by ATI. I have also already taken the test. Good luck!

I took the TEAS exam last December. I got an 81 on my first time. I checked the book you mentioned out from my local library and it helped. I also purchased 5 TEAS Practice Test from McGraw Hill. Another thing that I found really helpful was going to Quizlet and searching for public quiz sets for TEAS. There are a LOT! Good luck!
