Best prep for CNOR?

Has anyone recently taken the CNOR exam and if so, how was it? I will be eligible to in a couple of months and am trying to come up with a study plan. I am nervous as I see the pass rate is only 70% and it just overall seems intimidating!

Thank you in advance for any insights!

Please check out all of the resources offered by Competency and Credentialing Institute (www.cc-institute.org), which is the organization that administers the CNOR credential. They have a freely available 12 week study plan http://info.cc-institute.org/cnor-exam-study-plan along with a review course, review book, and practice questions available for a price https://account.cc-institute.org/eweb/DynamicPage.aspx?WebCode=COEMerchandiseSearch&g10_key=dbbaedcf-0f0f-444c-9fc2-9dc9b12c42c1

AORN also offers a review course https://www.aorn.org/education/prep-for-cnor with a choice of self-paced modules or 2 day virtual class.

Also look into what your facility may offer for exam prep- will they reimburse the cost of certification exams only or will they also offer reimbursement for a prep course? Do they already have a prep course planned that you could attend instead of doing it on your own? Does your education team have resources to help you prep? Are there others in your unit looking to become certified that you could start a study group?
