Welcome!
Do you intend to work as a nurse in the Philly metro area after you are done with your nursing education? If so, be cognizant that the major hospital systems in that area have gone to BSN-only hiring when it comes to new grads.
If you are fine with non-hospital employment such as home health, private duty, SNF/nursing homes, hospice, physical rehab, psych, jails, clinics or blood banks, an ASN degree should suffice.

I am a USAF veteran and want to become an RN. I'm not really sure where to start in regards to knowing which programs are the best and if getting a CNA and then attending a BSN program is the best. Or if going for a two year ASN will be just as lucrative and take less time. I'm looking at schools in the Philadelphia area, any help would be greatly appreciated.
