Best Pharmacology Book?

Published

whats the best pharmacology text to use? Ive read that Lehne might be a great resource. Suggestions fellow RNs? :)

I HATE Lehne. It contradicts itself all over the place. We used pharmacology and the nursing process last year and I liked that much better. First author is Lilley.

Specializes in LTC.

If you really want to learn the material, why it works, how it fits in with the physiology, try this out of print book: The Phunny Pharm The Ultimate Pharmacology Study Guide. C. Reidhead. It is a study guide, but puts everything in a story/picture context so you can remember it. The pictures leap into my mind and I can recall what it does and why easily. Written for med students but invaluable to me as an RN. I still review it to keep everything fresh in my mind.

Hi, are you willing to see the book?
