  1. How do you become an independent Medicaid provider, if you don't mind
  2. Illinois/Rural area 21.85 afternoon shift w/diff at a ltc. That was my first job. Now private duty 23/hr and home health visit.. 30 per visit.

Not sure about ASN but, indiana State University has an LPN-BSN online program, any clinicals need to be arranged in your state. Most states accept it, there is a map of which states Nursing board accepts their program. Some advice, you don't need the college network study material it's 3000 you don't need to spend. I live in Illinois and am going to start next year. I have to Clep out of the Math and take one more English class. Good luck.
  4. I know :) that's why I put that I get paid 30/visit. My company pays the RN's 45 a visit not forty like I said earlier.
  5. What state are you in? I've been an LPN for one year at a LTC I am now doing home health and get paid 30/visit but I do not have guaranteed hours, it can be slow in the beginning but everyone tells me (other nurses) that it'll pick up. I think that pay is low for an RN, I'm in Illinois and at my company they pay the Rns forty a visit.
  6. "I could go on about an LPN who didn't accept the task I gave her. I'm an RN, so, um, nope, I'll keep this comment short." What does this comment mean? Um, You are aware that LPNs do not work for RNs, right? I was going to give you some tips until I read that part. Good luck; you have a lot more to learn than a faster med pass.
  7. I'm assuming you applied at the Nursing Homes? Look on indeed.com to, don't worry you will find something it takes a little while but you'll find something. How far South are you?
  8. How did you get the job in Saudi Arabia? What was it like and how was the pay? Thank you
  9. Can posters please leave the state you are in, thank you
  10. Can you tell me the website to go on to get these certifications, and has having these certifications helped you job wise and pay wise, thank you.
  11. How did you find that job? I'm in Illinois, any suggestions, and what does that entail?
  12. To lababy, what do you mean no one will hire you? All of my fellow students have jobs and I just got hired. When you say it's only state certified and not nursing, what are you saying? I'm on the registry as a nurse. Just wondering what you meant.
  13. How did it turn out for you, I'm in the same boat
  14. I'd love to do that, can you direct me?
