Hi everyone :)
I am required to get all-white nursing shoes for the nursing program at my school.. However, I have very flat and narrow feet, and despite having custom-made orthotics, I still have trouble with a lot of shoes making my knees, hips and lower back hurt.
We're not allowed to wear clogs, heels or sneakers for the program.. (my feet are narrow enough that clogs dont really stay on my feet anyway, haha)
So does anyone have any good ideas for shoes that are comfy all day long?? I was looking at some of the ones Merrell makes because i know they make other quality shoes.
Thank you so much in advance for your help or input!! I appreciate it immensly!!

How about SAS shoes? You would need to find an SAS retail outlet and try them on. I thought they were horrible, but I have high arches. I figure they might be good for flat feet?
People seem to love them, but they are not for me.

My vote is for SAS also. My feet are the same as yours, plus I wear a size 11.5. SAS were my first nursing shoes, and they were SO comfortable.

Love my MBTs. I have very flat feet and they used to ache all night. These were the cure for me. You can find them on sale (especially in your size) if her set aside a little time for the computer. Good luck in your program!

I found that the Klogs Professional line of shoes to be excellent for my flat feet.. I took advantage of the deal at the Orthotic Shop where they have a buy-together package on Klogs and Lynco orthotics. The removable insoles of the klogs makes using the lynco's easy.. Check out their lineup of Supportive Nursing Shoes.
I wear the Boca with the L420 lynco. Work's great.
