:oHi everyone!

I have some of my textbooks for this fall semester. I was just wondering :

What is the most helpful NCLEX Review book? (is it ok if I purchase one that it one or two years back?)

What are the most hepful books for Pharmacology, Med-Surg, Fundementals, and Older Adult?

I'm debating b/w Saunders or Lippincott for the NCLEX Review. And Purchasing the series of _____ Made Incredibly Easy books.

Specializes in med/surg, telemetry, IV therapy, mgmt.

you might do a search of this forum because there have been several threads about this. one of the books frequently mentioned is

saunders comprehensive review for the nclex-rn examination, 3rd edition, by linda anne silvestri. it comes with a cd that has over 4,000 additional questions on it although i have to tell you that some of the answers are incorrect on the cd although the explanation of the answers are correct. how those mistakes were made in the editing of the disc is a mystery. the book itself is in a nice concise outline format of many nursing subject areas, so it is a good review and guide to use as you go through your nursing program and study for tests in school. at the end of each section in the book are nclex style questions with the reasoning for the correct answer explained. i have a copy of the book that i use for reference.
