Good day everyone:
In the thread https://allnurses.com/pre-nursing-student/yay-i-got-936793.html virgo7598 asked a question I'm sure has been asked before, but I've not been able to find the answer.
"What would you say is the best NCLEX review guide to get? I've been reading that a lot of people suggest you buy one right away and review it as you go along in school. I've also saw some people suggest getting Pearson Reviews & Rationales: Medical-Surgical Nursing by MaryAnn Hogan. Would you suggest getting this as a guide?"
If you had to pick one book for that would be the Best NCLEX review guide for 1st semester nursing student, what would it be and why?
If you could pick two out of the four, which two would they be and why?
Thank you.

I have read on All Nurses a multitude of times that Saunders is the best NCLEX guide.
Good day, Twishes:
Thank you for your reply. If you had to name a second guide/book, which one would you pick?
Also, for Saunders, do you specifically mean this one? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1455727555/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Someone suggested using fundamentals success book by Davis they have one for each block in nursing school.
Fundamentals Success: A Q and A Review Applying Critical Thinking to Test Taking / Edition 3 by Patricia M. Nugent | 9780803627796 | Paperback | Barnes & Noble
Yes, that is the book I was talking about. I have seen that book mentioned many times and that is the book I plan to get for myself too. If I were to get a second, it would be Kaplan because my school uses Kaplan exams. I start nursing school this Fall!
Thank you!

I also start classes in the fall and I will be using the Saunders book. I saw great reviews in amazon for this book.
