Hello,
I am about to start my first semester of nursing school this fall and I am looking to purchase a new laptop but have had trouble trying to find one that would be a good fit. There are so many different laptops online and it is very overwhelming trying to figure out which would be best for when I am in nursing school. I know that my laptop for sure needs to run Lockdown Browser for exams (Chromebooks are out of this equation). I am not the biggest fan of Macbooks because they are not touch screen. I was wondering what laptops people have used/are using in nursing school and if anyone has any recommendations!
Thank y'all!

Anything that is able to keep up with software updates and downloads. I have had my laptop since 2015 a mac book air. It got me all the way through nursing pre-reqs and my BSN. Im rounding my first year of NP school and its no longer useful. This computer is so old it is unable to keep up with the browsers needed for proctored exams. I had to buy a new computer. But, the most important thing is that it runs and has a decent storage space because you will have to download a lot of documents. These days I think most colleges use microsoft email/one drive. So, that is a bonus because you can save all of your papers under your student email account.
