Not sure if there has already been a post for this but I will be graduating in May & moving back to Memphis and I was wondering what are the pros/cons of hospitals in Memphis ( Baptist , Methodist, the med-regional one, st. Francis). Basically which hospitals should a new grad apply too?

You can message me.
Also helpful to know what specialty you are seeking.
I havent reached the 15 max limit on allnurses. I am primarily interested in postpartum/nursery. Can you email me at [email protected]

Apply to them all, what exactly are you looking for in a hospital? Money? Patient ration? Tuition reimbursement?
Well I'm a new grad, I'm interested in postpartum. R any hospitals magnet status in Memphis? I definitely want to work for a hospital that treats nurses well & has a good patient/nurse ratio.

The Methodist/LeBonheur system is the best to work for in Memphis, in terms of culture, career opportunity, and benefits. I work in another large healthcare system and have friends who work for Methodist and St. Francis (Tenet). After comparing notes, no one comes close to Methodist. If I weren't in my last year of NP school (and thus needing the flexibility that my seniority affords me), I'd go to Methodist in a heartbeat.
Ok thank you @Murse901 . I appreciate it
I work at Baptist, can't complain but definitely heard that Methodist has lower patio ratios than us, baptist doesn't do tuition reimbursement but I do like the benefits, sorry so late.
