Hello! Did you ever get the info you needed?!

I've gotten nothing! This is like ghost town board. I even forgot I ever posted on here. :crying2:

There's a great lvn at St. Philips. You can still apply if interested. Deadline is Nov 10th for this spring semester. Only thing that sucks about it is that most people don't have the Hep A series. You can try and get your first shot and get a note from your doc stating when you would get your next shot. Galen's program is more expensive, but that depends on whether you have the funds or not. Here's a list for the fees and general charges for Galen. http://www.galencollege.edu/san-antonio-nursing-school/tuition-and-fees.php This is the link for their course curriculum http://www.galencollege.edu.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com/assets/campuses/school-of-nursing-san-antonio/san-antonio-education-programs/sa_updatedcurriculum_2011_oct.pdf If you scroll down you'll see two plans one is the day program and the second is the evening program.

And it's $255 per credit, coming up to about $17k tuition only vs. SPC if instate tuition is around $6k. As far as bshp I would go to their program but just became interested in the program and don't have the prereqs. Their program is a little more expensive also, their prereqs are ap 1&2 and I believe psych or lifespan. Their spring deadline has passed though. it was Oct 1. This is their website. http://www.bshp.edu/prospective-students/admission.aspx As far as career point i tried getting some info from them earlier today, but I have to wait until they're in the program. I, too am looking for the best lvn program since I'm fairly new to the nursing world. I'm looking for something fast that I could get into with entrance exams or prereqs and was sooo happy to find SPC. Galen also has no required prereqs and they have rolling admissions until the classes are filled. They're semesters are actually in quarters. If you have any ?s let me know :)
