I am going into the summer semester with bio210, eng 101, pys201 under my belt. Bio 211, stats, and pub spk are three musts. Id like to take more if possible as I am going to try for a bsn after the adn. Anyone taken statistics online? Other classes easy online?
Thanks

I tried to take the classes I could online since my school is an hour drive from my house. I did take Statistics online and although I struggled in the beginning, it got better as time went on and I ended up getting a 4.0. Sociology (or anthropology) is a class I now wish I had taken online as it seems pretty silly for me to have to wake up so early to drive in for! I did take Psych online as well, but you mentioned you've already completed that. :)
There are a few classes I avoided taking online, because I had spoken to peers and found out that those instructors were not well recommended so I think it might be best if you can connect with someone who has taken the classes from your school before that can give you a heads up on it! For instance, at my school the instructor of the online Nutrition class is supposed to be very difficult and not very helpful. I'm glad I was able to find this out before signing up for her class and causing myself extra stress that I didn't need.
Also of course make sure you are willing to be a good online student! I have several friends who would take online courses then conveniently "forget" about them and their grade would show it. As long as you know online classes are a good fit for you I think you'll be fine! Good luck!!!

There is clear evidence - intro online stats is not recommended unless you have a strong math background. The quality of your interaction with the instructor makes a huge difference in this course. The "words" courses such as psych, soc, history, English, etc... should not have any problems with online as long as you have no difficulties with reading comprehension or writing skills.

Human growth development and nutrition for me were also good online classes to take.
