Best books & cds to study with??

Hi :) My husband took his NCLEX-RN for the first time yesterday and failed. :( He scored a 92.3% on the ATI predictor test. He also was getting scores of 70-90% on all of his practice tests from ATI and Saunder's. We are just blown away that he didn't pass. The computer stopped him at 192. He said most of his test was prioritization, drugs he never heard of and SATA. I would love to hear suggestions of what you guys used to study, which ones you felt were the most helpful and most like the NCLEX questions.

By the way...we tried the Pearson Vue trick last night...took us straight to the credit card page. Guess it does work. :(

Many people are successful using the Saunders Comprehensive Review, latest edition, Linda LaCharity's book on prioritization, and the Kaplan review book for test strategies. Your husband's case is an example of why people should not rely on predictor scores. Hope he has better luck this next time.

Thanks for your response. He has the Saunder's Comprehensive Review. I looked up the Lacharity book on Amazon. Are you talking about the Priority one for Med-Surg because the Priority for NCLEX says it's only available for pre-order. He plans to re-take in 45 days.

Also has anyone used the NCLEX-RN-Flash system? It's 3,000 flash cards written by nursing students who have passed the NCLEX and it's supposed to cover everything.
