Best Associate degree programs in WA

Hello! I am looking into applying to a nursing school and am wondering what schools offering associate programs are considered the best in Washington State? (I live near Everett).

Also, are there any schools that offer online associate degrees? I understand that clinicals cannot be completed online, but suspect that other classes may be.

Please advise. Thank you in advance!

hello! I am also an aspiring nurse, so I am not speaking from direct experience - but instead from research and recommendations from multiple nurses I work with. From what I have been told the following are considered great programs in King/Snohomish counties - Shoreline and Bellevue College. I have heard good things about Lake Washington Institute also - especially now that they are certified.

Key things are to review the school's NCLEX pass rate and that they are certified if you plan to work in a hospital. Additionally, you want to consider going to BSN as that is where the industry is going.

Lastly, there are not online programs for your RN because it is primarily hands on training. My understanding is that once you have your RN then if you want to do a bridge program to your BSN the majority of that can be done online.

I hope this helps!

Everett Community College has a very selective program and highest NCLEX pass rate of any ADN program in the state.
