It depends on what "cluster" of hospitals you intend on working for becasue there are a couple main areas with several groups of hospitals in them. If you work on what is know as "pill hill" which is NorthSide Hosp known for L&D, Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta (one of Forbes top 100 companies in the US to work for) and St. josephs Hosp. (Older Hosp more known for Surgery and Ortho) and there are literally 1,000's of medical practice buildings near there. You can google that area which would be Glen Ridge Drive/Connector area, all of thes are east to get to by I-285. Then Downtown there is Grady, Emory, Piedmont (midtown), and more which would be easy to get to if you live anywhere of of I-75 so you would want to look right downtown to rent, to buy you would probably want to move a little firther out and drive the 20 min into work. That would be the case but you could probably get a good deal anywhere right now.
Good Luck!
