Hi all! so ever since i can remember ive always wanted to become a nurse. as a freshman completing her 2nd semester here ive done practically all my pre reqs and soon will be applying to the nursing evening program. i am a bergen county resident as well. i keep hearing so many people saying its so competetive which i completley understand. But i really want peoples opionion on my chances of getting in.... my grades for each pre req follow... chemistry and algebra yes isnt so great but i know they dont want anything lower than a c anyways and my PSYCH-106 class ill be taking in summer and guaranteeing myself an A .... as for anatomy 2... thats the onnly pre req that will be "in progress" and finishing up before the January semester begins. ive been studying for the entrance exam so much i havent even applied yet and im already studying... so with much preparation for this exam and my grades now.. what do you think my chances are?
Anatomy 1- B+/B
anatomy 2 .: in progress.. starting in fall
Wwriting 101- B
Psych- 101 A
Sociology B+/A
pSYCH 106-A (summer course but i know il get an A!) HAHA

Hey. Its great to see that your motivated. Honestly, as long as your gpa meets the minimum requirment, you will go through the steps towards taking the HESI. After applying and have met all the basic requirements, you will be asked to pay for a background check. If they find anything off about that, you will not continue. After that, you will take the hesi and that is where it gets competitive. From my knowledge, they take the students who had the highest score and go down from there. So a competetive score on the hesi is important. Good luck
