Bergen Community College Day Program 2021

Published

Hello, I'm creating this thread for anyone applying for Fall 2021 at Bergen Community College. Please share tips or info about TEAS and the program, so we can help each other.

Hey guys.
I also applied too, but I didn’t receive any emails yet for TEAS deadline. When you guys receive your emails? I’ve been checking my Bergen and regular email address, but nothing is there. Please let me know. Thank you!

Hey! Maybe your email is probably delayed. I got mine last week, did you finish all of your prereqs?

Yes. I finished everything last Summer semester.

Oh so I would just wait until Friday. I know some people don't get it in on time. If not, contact Bergen. But from my email, it states that all testing must be completed by March 26, 2021.

Thank you so much.

Hello,

I hope all is well. Is anyone going to take the HESI test? I applied for the Radiology program. I received the registration HESI email today. I will register when I get home tonight. I also bought the HESI 5th Edition book. Now, I have to start study. I wish everyone good luck.

Hi,

I'm taking the TEAS exam but I have a friend who's taking the HESI and she applied for the Dental Hygiene program. Good luck with your exam!

Thank you! & Since December but I would say January. This will be my 3rd attempt. & I understand it's nerve-wracking.

Hi! Which part was the most difficult for you?

My first attempt I scored a 62%. I basically skimmed through the all section (DON'T do this) since I only had 2 weeks to study.  I found the science pretty easy which was my highest score 86%. As for English and Math, I did terrible LOL. I would really go over everything especially your weakest areas. Remember there's many versions of the test so you really have no clue if you'll get an easy version or a difficult one.  My second attempt I went down 2 points (60%) but I improved in the English section. Mind you, I got a difficult version that time. It was nothing like my first attempt. I had really in depth questions mostly A&P 2 topics and tons of bio & chem. So bottom line is put the effort in studying every section until you feel comfortable with it.

Yes I agree. Everyone has different exams as well as their own weaknesses. Some people might say the science was hard but that's because they might be weak in science, it doesn't necessarily mean it's overall hard. I feel that overstudying is better than just skimming through the material, also take practice exams, watch Youtube videos, crash course, khan academy and get the idea of each topic.

Exactly, everyone has different strength and weaknesses in different areas.
