Bergen Community College Day Program 2021

Published

Hello, I'm creating this thread for anyone applying for Fall 2021 at Bergen Community College. Please share tips or info about TEAS and the program, so we can help each other.

I don't understand how I didn't score high enough to get in. I have a 4.0 GPA and got a 75.3% on the TEAS

we should talk to the dean

I spoke to the Dean. She was very kind but not helpful at all. she said the committee decides based on TEAS and GPA but it doesn't feel that way. It feels random

What I was told from the health department counselor the admission committee takes %60 of TEAS score and %40 of GPA and then combine both scores. Based on that you should have accepted compared the other people who scored less and got in. This is not fair AT ALL. We have to do something.

I feel absolutely devastated. I wish there was something I could do. It makes no sense to me how people with lower scored got in. I understand its 60/40 but with a 4.0 GPA and 75.3% TEAS, that should have been enough compared to other peoples scores. I wish I could appeal it

I talked to the dean either but still not content with her answer. There is no way we can not get in with these scores. I feel like the year I spend to take my prerequisites was just a waste of time. I don't even know if I should bother applying for the Spring semester. Obviously they pick students randomly.

Wow I’m extremely surprised that you didn’t get in with those scored. I have a 4.0 and scored 88% on TEAS, but I’d assume with a 4.0 you’d definitely get in. Did you ask if there is a wait list for the program? There might be another acceptance wave coming out, I’d contact the dean and find out about it. I’m very sorry you guys didn’t get your the emails though ?

WOW, NO WORDS

Did anyone else get the letter? I still have not received any email from them.

I'm getting nervous looking at all these posts...

I got an 86 and have a 4.0! I've noticed people with lower have been accepted and some with higher got rejected so I don't really know how it's being judged LOL

Has anyone gotten a packet in the mail yet?
