Bergen CC Nursing Spring 2018

I thought I'd start a forum for all those applying to Bergen's nursing program! I just applied today and I'm super anxious. I'd love to hear from anyone else applying! :)

I got the packet but heard nothing from CHBC yet so I'm not sure. The nursing packet has been available on their website so maybe it was just a generic email to get everyone started on the process. Waiting is so frustrating!!

Because I am an international student, instead of Bergen CC I wrote another thing. CBC told me to do it when I called them. Then they told me when I get the result by email I have to call them so they send the result to Bergen CC. Today I called CBC but they told me the school received the result. But still I am worrying , don't want to loose the opportunity:) I really wish good luck for everyone

Hey everyone that's awesome! I do think that we got the email because we passed the CBC. It could be their way of telling us we're officially in, I guess. And I don't have my fb activated but if we started something I'd join for sure. I was thrilled to see that we need 13 books for 3 classes haha but I'm just so excited to finally start.

Hey do you mean you saw the books? Where did you see them. I also think like you, because in email it says " as a nursing student "

I called the Adam safeguard and asked if my backround check went through today and they said it wasn't showing. So I'm not sure if the email was correlated with the CBC ( as much as I would love it to be) she said they have 10 business days and I did it the day after we got the first email, so fingers crossed ( hopefully by next week). I also read it runs for misdemeanors and felonies so hopefully my infraction doesn't show up. More waiting!!!

When you click on the class, there's a link at the bottom that shows you which books are needed.

are you doing this through webadvisor? That is the only place I can see my courses, nothing shows up for me on moodle

When do we have to start buying books they are so expensive

I don't have health insurance.. and the college I guess doesn't offer it anymore. Does anyone know where a good place to start is?

On one of the documents they emailed us there is a topic mentioning what to do if you dont have health insurance at the moment. They can provide a temporary insurance to get the testing, etc completed. I had to go part-time and lost my health insurance so I may take up that option.

For anyone in section 602, do you have classes Monday-Friday, as well? And I'd start buying books as soon as you can
