Hi my name is Billy, and I am partially freaking out over acceptance into this program, but I feel my chances are good. Originally, I was trying to enter the night program this semester, but financial aid did not come through. Therefore, I am currently taking anatomy 2 and microbio at Bergen to knock them out of the way; meanwhile, I impatiently twiddle my thumbs waiting for an acceptance letter...
Nursing is serious! You will be dealing with peoples lives! I am crazy about nursing, and know I want to become a CRNA.
I made this post for those who are trying to get into this program for fall, so we can form a community for answering questions, steps that need to be completed, TEAS help, forming study groups, and making friends along the way. I know a bit about the program and would be happy to answer any questions. I want to wish good luck to everyone!
Yeah idk about the background check. I'm gonna ask the program on Monday, but we didn't receive any info I guess we have to wait till after the TEAs. Sorry for the misinformation. I'll make a post on what they tell me Monday.
hey all, are you all currently bergen community students? i ask because i am a transfer student trying to enter the nursing program. My gpa is 3.4 and i haven't received a response at all in regards to taking the teas...Now im freaking out...?
yes @latte18 i took all of my prerequisites im coming in with a bachelors degree and they told me i wasn't missing anything at all... I cant imagine i wouldn't get in but i haven't received anything which is why im anxious. Im not a current student at bergen and Im not sure if thats whats delaying my process... ARE YOU A BERGEN STUDNT?
Perhaps that's what delaying the process. Yes, I'm currently a student in Bergen. I have already received a email to take the TEAS. March 26 is the deadline to complete the TEAS. I would call if I were you.
i have emailed and called last week... they said they are sending out notifications this week which clearly we know some have you already received. Do you have a number i can try?
hey question... if i registered for the teas exam at a different school, prior to receiving the eligibility letter from bergen (which i received to take the teas psi....) how do i go about this, being that im already scheduled to take the teas next week?
