I hope these nurses remember how to do paper charting.

I wonder how you know what meds are due your patients if the chart is purely electronic???

Downside: very vulnerable to physical attacks- fire, water, shredders, spills, ripping, or going missing.

Also, those ransom attacks are not that uncommon. If your system has built in backups running regularly is should just be a minor hiccup. Educating staff about internet safety is extremely important.
