I was wondering what type of benefits package all of you would be looking for from future employers, and what you might think would be useful to ask for?

Health coverage - coverage (dental, vision, prescriptions?), co-pays, deductibles, premiums, type of plan (PPO, HMO), open enrollment, out of pocket expenses

Vacation - days, when can they be taken, when do days accumulate, holidays/paid time off

401K - match, max contributions, time to become fully vested,

Cafeteria plan? Pension plan? Life/disability insurance?

Tuition reimbursement - how it works, who qualifies

Childcare - on site, sick kids?

Employee health - fitness center/discounts, screenings, immunizations, classes, employee assistance

Specializes in Utilization Management.

uniform allowance?

Specializes in Rural Health.

Disability pay and/or insurance. How it works, how long you have to work there to qualify, etc....

When your benefits take effect (1st day, 90 days, etc...)

Do you get benefits at part time (not PRN, but actually scheduled part time)

Shift differentials, weekends, nights, evenings
