Program manager told me that they send the letters out Mid-May so hopefully we can be expecting them soon! I've still been checking for a letter since the beginning of May though! haha.

Still patiently waiting! UGH. Do any of you know if they still intend to offer interviews as part of the application process? Or is it completely point based?

Hey there!

I'm also applying for the Fall 2017 cohort. I think I scored 10 points on the new point system, a 3.8 GPA, and 91.3% on my TEAS. I still haven't heard anything either. I'm wondering if they are planning to do interviews, and if so, has anyone had one?

Online it says we're notified in early June, but a couple of you have said they mail out letters in mid-May, so that's exciting! That should be any day now!

I'm not 100% sure whether or not they're doing interviews, but I doubt that they are. It seems really late in the application process for that. haha.

When I dropped off my application, I asked to go over it with someone to make sure everything was correct and I ended up with the program manager. We went over my application together and I asked her about the application process and she didn't mention anything about interviews. It does say that we may have interviews on the nursing website so this makes me think that an interview is not part of the standard. Even with interviews, I'm pretty sure it's a completely point based selection.

I'm nervous about the new point system. I'm not sure I'll have enough to make the first cut. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Does anyone know if they release how many applicants there were?

I was also looking for information about average cohort size but I haven't been successful. The website didn't have potential interview dates posted so I assume they have discontinued that part of the process.

I'm interested, where are all of you transferring from? anybody here an out-of-state student?

I am currently living in Spokane and will be graduating from a two-year this June. I plan to move to Seattle this summer with my husband. Bellevue College is my top choice so I'm hoping it works out.

Also has anyone looked into their ADN-BSN option? What are your thoughts?

From what I've read and heard from people who have attended the program, the average size for the cohorts is around 32 students.

Their RN to BSN seems like a good option. The requirements and program length are typical to the RN to BSN program offered at other schools.

It would be a smoother transition since it is within Bellevue College, such as not having to worry about applying for admission while also applying to the program.

When I attended the information session last year they said that they accept about 33 students. I don't remember if they had said anything about how many apply though.

If I'm accepted, I'll most likely go for BC's RN to BSN program. Like Lunamc said, it seems like a natural smooth transition.

I spoke to someone at the school nursing program a few weeks ago and they said they plan to have all the letters out by the end of May. So I guess sometime within the next week we should hopefully receive something! This suspense is killing me! Please post if you hear anything :)
