Becoming a nurse with huge study gap

Hi there all, 

I am an asian who wants to become a nurse  now at the age of around 30 that too with around 9 years of study gap is it possible for me to become a nurse?

I would love to study nursing in USA there I've heard about lots of good nursing schools and good grip on practical knowledge as well! 

 

Any suggestion or tip or advice will be welcomed.

I had a 24 yr gap between graduating with my first degree and starting nursing school. 9 yr gap is not a big hurdle.
