I was trying to get some Beanie Babies, but the "Beanie fo Preemies" site is gone. Does anyone know where I can get some? (Besides out of pocket).
How about some blankets? We are short on those all the time and only have one donator.
Thanks! :)

Oh, wow! I can't help you with the beanie babies--wait--maybe McDonald's could donate some? They currently have a "Happy Meal" promotion, that includes tiny beanie babies--it's certainly worth making a few calls--
Don't you have any assisted living or retirement centers close by? I used to do foot care for elderly people at one of those facilities--the ladies were ALWAYS making tiny quilts and afghans, both for preemies and for "normal sized" newborns.
I'll bet all you'd have to do is post a need at the various senior facilities--also try various senior day care centers and social programs--you know, the ones where they meet to have lunch, play bridge, etc--and you'd get a SLEW of them.
Also try your local community college---ask for the instructors who teach both quilting and sewing. A friend of mine in San Francisco taught quilting at one of those CCs, and her students were CONSTANTLY making teeny baby quilts--out of scraps.

We have schools around us that make quilts and clothes for the babies as a project :) We get parent's permission and send them pictures of the babies after.
We also have a Harley group that makes a beanie run every year. :)
