BCLS Training

Hi

I am a nursing student and I want to get my BCLS certification. Except everywhere I search for it BLS(CPR) and CPR HCP (which I have) are the results that come up. Does anyone know if these are the same thing? I would hate to take the BLS and learn that it is a lower level than I need!

"HCP" is the type of BLS course that is intended for Health Care Providers. There are other types of BLS courses - for 'civilians'. Just make sure it is an American Heart Association course. You can also get CPR certification from Red Cross, but that is generally not accepted by hospitals.
