BCC nursing 2018

Published

Air Hi all! I am creating this forum in hopes to connect with other pre-nursing student applying into BCC's program for fall of 2018! What other schools are you applying to? What are your grades and TEAS scores? Also, current students, if you have any advice or insight on the program?

Thanks! Can't wait to hear from you all.

Barely! Reading posts from previous years is making me nervous! I feel like i am not going to get in! maybe i am just psyching myself out here! The wait is starting to get to me....

:( Waiting sucks. Caroline u said e-health was your 1st choice right? I hate knowing there's so few spots. I would still accept traditional but it'll be a lot harder for me. Did u girls apply to any other schools? I didn't and now I'm wondering if I should have but I really don't think I would've wanted the commute and I've just had my heart set on BCC. Not to mention other schools all have different requirements and I think I would've had to re-take a lot of classes. I know it's hard, but try to remain positive. Jamie if they told you the Chemistry grade was the reason u were declined then I would think u taking it again and getting an A should be all you'd need. Fingers crossed!

I picked traditional

I actually applied last week at brockton hospital school of nursing. They dont require the teas but you have to take their HESI exam. I have not registered to take the exam because I want to wait for BCC's decision before proceeding with my application..Every single day I check my degree works ..Im controlling myself not to email the lady who reviews the applications

Hi everyone! I am so anxious to find out! I asked admissions on the 31st when we'd know and they said letters will go out within a couple week from then so I'm hoping soon!! I've been checking my degree works religiously. I applied for traditional with eHealth as a second option. My GPA just at BCC is a 3.87 with a 3.61 overall including my GPA from my previous college. My TEAS exam was a 66. I'm hoping to know soon!

Hi Margaret! U can pass the time obsessing with the rest of us lol. I wonder how the HESI is compared to the Teas. Caroline I had u confused with Steph on the e-health :) I think we'll def know within a few weeks we just hafta stay distracted until then!

I hope we don't have to wait until March. :( I did not apply anywhere else.

I applied to massasoit as well and i am also applying for Quincy colleges lpn program amd then can do the bridge RN after! I got into Brockton Hospital Program in the past 3 times but the financial aid department doesn't help you and you need private loans and personal money on top of financial aid! So you are left with some major loans after! BCC is my first choice. My friend graduated from BCC and has no school loans so its very affordable and she says the program is great! She passed her boards on first try! I have my associates in Science right now as well as a phlebotomy & CNA certificate ao i am very ready to take the next step to become an RN! Just wish BCC had a chance to see all that but compared to other school they require very little to apply so they don't see your achievements!

Don't look like we're finding out this week!! Still nothing on degree works :/ Hoping we find out by end of next week or maybe even on Valentine's day

I'm hoping next week is the week!! Fingers crossed!!

February 16th is when Degree works changed for last years applicants

We're not gonna know what to do with ourselves once we find out lol. All of the obsessing will finally be over with! The 16th is one week from today :) A Valentine's day surprise would be nice
