RN ON THE GO

I just interviewed with Baylor All Saints and Baylor Univ. Med. Center -they are similar positions , and I rec'd an offer from both places. I am from out of state and really am unsure about which position to accept. I would hate to make the wrong decision. Can any one who works at these locations give me any feed back. They both seem like wonderful places to work. Thanks for any comments. Feel free to send me a private comment

I don't work there, but I had my med-surg clinical at Baylor All Saints. The staff are really nice there. Don't know about the other one though.

BUMC has a fantastic reputation. All my friends that work there absolutely LOVE their jobs.. but I'm sure it's all unit-dependent. My friend is in the CVICU at BUMC and is totally happy with the hospital and her coworkers. SHe LOVES it. All Saints, I loved my clinical in the CVICU, but I hated my med/surg clinical there.. so I would go with your gut on this one. Which manager could you see yourself enjoying more? What was the atmosphere like on both floors? How friendly did the staff seem? x
Thanks for sharing that. I went back yesterday to "hang out" with the staff as they interacted with each other. i would recommend doing this to any one pursuing a new job in a new hospital. I was so happy with what I saw that I can't wait to accept the position (BUMC)!
It has been very scary not knowing anything about the hospitals and coming from out of state. I prefer to make the right decision the first time and not have to start the process over again later. Thanks.
