Baylor Nursing School, Worth the money?

U.S.A. Texas

Published

I'm currently transferring from a school to either attend Baylor nursing school or Southeastern Louisiana university. I love Baylor, but I'm trying to decide if it is really worth the money when I could stay at home and attend a public school with the highest pass rates in the state and graduate with no loans or I could go to a nationally ranked program but have a few loans after I graduate. I've always loved Baylor and didn't choose it as a freshman because of financial reasons, I want to work in Texas after I graduate, and it's a lot closer to my boyfriend of 4.5 years. If I don't go there, we will be apart for another 3 years. I will also graduate a semester earlier at Baylor than I would at Southeastern, so in 2.5 years. I'm transferring from a private school that's program was not doing well at all. I was not satisfied with the instruction, the classes, or the labs. The program is at risk of losing accreditation. I had not been admitted to the professional component but was taking Foundations and a few other nursing related courses. If there are any recent Baylor nursing students, please tell me about your satisfaction with the Baylor Nursing school? If you could do it all over again, would you still pick the same school?
