Has anyone heard anything from Baylor about the January 2012 internships? I applied the first day the internships opened (Oct 3) and got an email saying they have a high volume of applicants and that I may not be contacted immediately. I was just wondering if anyone has already gotten calls for an interview or if I need to stop worrying and be more patient haha.
matchildnurse,
The phone interview is nothing to worry about. I did a whole bunch of prep thinking it was going to be hardcore and it was far from. They just ask you general questions like why you chose Baylor, why you chose your particular specialty of interest, describe a typical day for you, etc. I interviewed for the GN ED position last Wednesday face to face and felt like I did really good but I did not get the position. There were over 700 people who applied and they only hired for 8 positions!! I was devatasted because I had my heart set on that job, but getting an interview is something to be proud of. I'm not going to give up. I really really really want to work for Baylor!! Good luck to you though. You will do fine.
Hey, I was wondering if any Baylor applicants could answer my question.
How many interviews for new grad positions do they usually do? I have had a phone interview and I had an in person on the unit yesterday. I got a message today that I was not able to return, saying that they had good news. I'm not sure if it could be a possible offer or another interview.
Thanks!

Stillwaiting123 I applied for the ED and Med Surg. In the phone interview they asked which one I preferred and I told them ED. I have a face-to-face interview scheduled for next week but they didn't specify for what position.
