Hi All!
I recently got into the online BSN to DNP program at Baylor to start this August 2020. I'm hoping to find others also doing the program during this time. I am so so scared but excited at the same time.
If anyone is currently in the program: were you able to keep working bedside during? Is the workload manageable? How did clinicals go? I'll be doing the pediatric DNP. Also a little nervous about how the job hunt will go upon graduation... any insight at all would be helpful.
Thanks so much!
CONGRATS to all that are accepted!!? Is anyone still waiting for a response??
I found the program about a week before the deadline to submit applications, and was barely able to apply, which was last Friday 7/17. I haven't heard anything yet, I'm hoping it wasn't too late. Was the facebook group created???

I am still waiting and applied by the fall deadline. Have you received a response yet?

I have applied to the program for 2021. Can you give me an insight into the program please. I will be moving to Texas to work mainly for the program so I want to make sure I am making the right decision. Thanks
I was accepted into the BSN-to-DNP FNP program for Spring 2021! Anyone else?
I have a question about the financial aid process. I submitted my FAFSA 2 months ago but I haven't received any information from the financial aid office. How long did it take you guys to receive notification of your aid package?
For those already in the program, is the workload manageable to continue working full time?

Congrats!
Thank you!
I started my application process with an enrollment specialist in late August/early September and then completed all parts of my application about a month ago (letters of rec, SOP). I found out last Friday or Saturday. Any updates on your application?

I was accepted for the DNP-NNP program for Spring 2021! Same thing with FAFSA and I just received a letter from financial aid but no statement on what the aid would be! Just following this!

my advisor keeps telling me it’s in review. I applied back in august. He hasn’t given me any updates though. How did they inform you got in?
My enrollment specialist is amazing and has kept me up to date throughout the whole process. She would send me a quick text to check in about once a week to see if I needed help with anything even after my application file was completed and submitted for review. She also informed me that she would let me know if they had filled up for the trimester or if there was a waitlist and what the next steps would be if that happened, and to try not to worry because sometimes a decision isn't made until November. She kept me updated on my status herself on when it was officially submitted, when it was in review, and a cute text that she had exciting news for me first thing Monday morning.
I would try reaching out to yours to ask about the space still available and how long it'll be until a decision is made. I'm sorry that you have not been updated throughout the process, I am sure that makes you anxious.
I got an email from Baylor Grad School with "An admission decision has been made regarding your application" and a link to log in to see what it was (the application site), then the next day I got an email with the subject "Steps Needed to Complete your Admission" with a congratulations on admission within it as well. I got this over the weekend.

I haven't even gotten a letter yet ? I can't log in to BearWeb yet, so I'm not sure if there is more information in there in regards to this financial aid process. Please keep me posted when the ball starts rolling so that I can see how it all works.

Yeah! CONGRATS to us. I submitted my application April 20, my transcript was not received initially. Heard from them on June 1st but I have been communicating with the enrollment specialist.
