Hey! I did not see a thread for nurses applying to Baylor's CRNA program for 2018 so I decided to start one.I am applying to Baylor and UTHSC - Houston for classes starting in 2018. I have been watching these blogs for three years now, and I cannot believe I am ready to apply. I think my stats are average and am hoping to snag an interview. I taught high school for 8 years and have a MA in Math Education. 2nd career nurse! I am on here everyday. Hopefully some of us will be classmates in the future.
GPA: 3.4
GRE: 297 (yep taking this again before applications are due)
CVICU: 1 year 6 months to date (I will have 2 years when I submit my application)
Deeblackness, I too am here to prepare myself for CRNA program. I just have a few years to go (just finish my BSN).
I just came across Baylor's website, and their average GPA is mind-blowing 3.8! as for UTH: 3.6 on average. The tuition for Baylor is $112k and I am not so sure for UTH: it says the tuition alone is a bit over $40k, but there is a $80k indirect expenses, like for clinical, books and such. Anyone know the exact tuition for UTH? Please do share..
I am moving near Houston in two months, I have no relatives or colleagues in the health care field there. Any tips and tricks to get into an ICU in the TMC? I am currently an active duty soldier as LVN.

Hm... that is a bit weird... I paid my $200 deposit as soon as I got the acceptance letter through an email from UT. And the transaction went through...
I am wondering why the lady told you they took it off -_-;;; Then how do you secure your seat? Just by simply telling them you are accepting their offer? UT needs to specify that..
