Bauder College in Atlanta, GA has been a huge dissapointment thus far, to say the least. I am currently attending and the unprofessionalim of the Nursing faculty is unbelievable. I'm in awe everyday as I listen to the disrespectful, insulting and belittling way they speak to the students. On of the professors in particular has the worst attitude of all and what makes it worst is that she is over the Practical Nurse program!Only 2% of the class she's teaching right now is passing, everyone else is failing. She's not approachable because she will insult and embaress students who ask questions when they are unsure or unclear about something. She just failed a WHOLE CLASS last term. The director of the program takes her side on every matter, therefore you feel helpless. They are all just icey, unempathetic, and always on the edge for no reason. Of course being that it is a private school, it is extremely expensive. Yet we are nearing the end of the first term and our uniforms have yet to arrive, our medical kits have yet to arrive, and we did not recieve some of our books until 3 weeks into the term. Now they have jus recently announced to us that the school is closing down in Dec of 2015 due to a lack of enrollments. Am I surprised? No!

One suggestion, contact the BoN to ensure you are still eligible for licensing/NCLEX upon graduation with the school closing down. Sometimes there are issues other than low enrollment causing a program shut down. I'm sorry you have to go through this. Makes me appreciate my former program and instructors all the more
According to GA BoN they only have conditional approval to award nursing diplomas/degrees.
