Thanks @calcgirl314!
Hang in there @Ahdrianaadele. It will come quicker than you can imagine. I was accepted in the priority deadline, and checked my email constantly, looking for that acceptance. They emailed me a few days sooner than I anticipated, so that was some relief of the pressure. Good luck to you!

I also applied to the priority deadline. I was expecting to hear back 9/29, but heard back 9/27. My nerves were killing me too, so much so that I had to enroll in other classes at my local community college just to keep my mind preoccupied. Keep thinking positive thoughts; I'm sure things will work out fine for the both of you. Sending positive vibes your way!!
Thanks!!!!
Thank you for the well wishes and congrats on your acceptance. Hopefully we will be joining you for the Spring!
I hope to see you both!! í ¾í´—
Can you all tell me who you are doing your CPR class through?
Also, does anyone have an understanding of the schedule for the flex term? I have about 2 more classes to take out of the general ed courses that are required to receive the degree. I was thinking of doing one starting in a couple of weeks, since I have the time. If I wait and do it later, will those classes happen during summer term of 2018? Does anyone know that yet?
Since I'm an LVN my workplace provides free CPR classes. From my knowledge of other posters, I think that flex terms are 8 weeks. From what I saw on the website a lot of them are are in the summer term. I would say go ahead and do flex term at your community college, it will be cheaper for you in the long run. Actually that's what I'm doing right now. I was also going to ask if anyone got a blue card from the Texas Board of Nursing and if so, how did they do it?
@calcgirl314 - Not sure if you got your answer already, but the blue card is part of the fingerprinting process.
Yeah, I found that out from Victoria. Fortunately I don't have to get refingerprinted again. I just don't remember the whole blue card thing when I did my LVN program 4 years ago. I'm just waiting to get mine in the mail. Did you get yours yet @MeredithDavis?
