I don't see a topic for BSHP Fall RN 2022 so I'll just make one here. I just got accepted for Baptist RN Fall 2022 day program. How about you?

I did and even got an automated email back but still haven’t heard back. I’ll try to email again right now.

just curious did y’all get the flu vaccine for this year?? I can’t find any pharmacy to get my vaccine before the deadline ?

I think it might be to early to get the flu shot. They usually start around September I think

Yeah that’s what I read online but I saw that all of our health requirements are due by August 25th

If I’m not mistaken I think it said if it’s in season. Since we would be staring prior to flu vaccines being released for the season, I’m going to assume we are exempt until that time?

I did my BON form yesterday and setup my student nurse visit for Tuesday. Went to HEB today to get my Tdap. Safe to say I’m ready to go LOL. I haven’t been able to get into contact with anyone though about switching from the evening to day program. I should’ve asked yesterday when I was there but I think I’ll ask during orientation because I’m sure seats will open up when people don’t show for orientation. 

Is the nurse strictly just doing our health screening? All other vaccines should be done outside of that health screening right?

She is doing our health screening and our drug test I believe. Everything else needs to be done outside of the health screening. Don't wait out on the Hepatitis B either if you do not have it.

Has anyone logged into upload documents? I only have a upload by my LVN license I don’t have the option to upload CPR, Drivers license, shot records? Has anyone else come across this same problem?

They will send us another account with our portal login. It's different from the one we applied with I believe. We should recieved it by the end of next week.
