I just got an email saying that I’m an eligible candidate who will be receiving a waitlisted Number... but how many are on the waitlist? SJVC put everyone who didn’t get accepted on a waitlist.. I wonder if that is the case at BC?

I got my email last night! I GOT ACCEPTED TO LVN-RN!!!! I'm so excited. It looks like we do have to take the TEAS, but there is no required passing score. It says "Though there is not a required passing score for the TEAS to retain your seat, it will be used to assist in your learning process during the course of the program." Good luck to everyone else who is waiting!

Congratulations !! I’m sure that’s so exciting!! I’m eligible for the waitlist... please keep us updated if anyone is dropping if you remember in the fall! ?

so here is just what she emailed me ...

There will be up to 90 this go around for our LVN-RN waitlist. However, only 10 are admitted once a year and you will need to re-apply each application period to retain your waitlist number. That means it is important to read your personalized letter next week carefully to not lose your waitlist number in the future. Hope this helps. J -Michelle

I was waitlisted last year and basically your name is put in a lottery and they pick your number that way. My cohort has 60 spots or so. They take 10 applicants from wait list per year for the next class and usually 10-15 don’t reapply the following year. Sooo basically there are 20 or so spots that open the following year. You only move up! Venessa said it can take up 2-3 years to get it, but eventually you will get in. You just have to keep applying every year to keep your spot in line.

That sucks! Someone in the office I don’t remember her name told me at the time I submitted my application that they were tryin to get approved to do the bridge twice a year in 2020... so hopefully that happens ! Fingers crossed !

That would be so cool! They just need more staff ?? fingers crossed!!
