having a bad day? maybe this will help

:typing

I recently got a patient that had come from the nursing home. The paramedics were told ( by the nurse sending the patient to the hospital) that he was unable to obtain a systolic blood pressure but did manage to get a diastolic one. :chuckle

I later relayed this to my supervisor at the hospitaland he brought it to me!:yeah: I kept it in a bag in case we need it sometime, we know just where it is.:smokin:

Additionally, my patient had been obtunded since noonish, and was sent tot the hospital at 1840, but a quick check of her medication reconcilliation, showed our dilligent nurse had given her all her meds, even her trazadone!:banghead:

I'm confused. What is the question/statement?

I also don't understand how this is supposed to help my bad day, either.

Huh? You kept what in a bag just in case? I'm confused.

And exactly what does this have to do with having a bad day?

I thought I was the only one who didn't understand what was up with this!

i'm having a confusing day now.

You have the systolic blood pressure in a bag? huh?

How about you try working in a nursing home before making a judgement call. I find your post very confusing and insulting.

how do u find the post insulting if it does not make any sense?

:DHmmmm...read this one if you think this post is funny:

"I've also seen some people post on this very site, posting things that don't make any sense with horrible grammer and exhibit no intelligence whatsoever... yet they're nurses. How the hell does that happen?" https://allnurses.com/general-nursing-discussion/level-of-intelligence-417892.html

Maybe the person who posted this worked too many hours, didn't drink her coffee, and didn't proofread! :yeah:She'll probably wake up tomorrow morning and think what the #*$) did I post?

She meant, "here is a funny story and I kept this story 'in a bag' to tell someone to make them laugh on a crappy day'"

I don't know, I didn't really have any issues figuring out the post, haha!
