background checks. ANY STATE WHO DOESN'T DO ONE?

Does any one know if there is any state who do not do back ground checks.?

Specializes in Psych ICU, addictions.
I have an active RN license in Florida but in 2007 I pled guilty to a felony and had adjudication withheld. I applied to a hospital here but was denied a job due to my background, any advice, I am still looking for a job. Thanks.

Consult with a lawyer to see if you can have your record expunged. That may help with the job search.
