Recently, I was really worried about not getting into my nursing program because I thought I had a bad background. Well, June, I got the background check through the company that the school uses and it came back clear. The school said that it sends out this information to ALL clinical agencies and that if there was a hit, I'd be notified prior to starting the program.
Well, my background came back clear and I am happy that it did. It says that I have no CRIMINAL record, but I have been issued tickets and summons before... and I'm pretty sure they're traffic violations and not criminal ones.
Now, my main question is that when I go to get fingerprinted for the boards, will their background check be any "different?"
The one that I used, ran your SSN, name etc... and backed it up against all the municipalities of all the places that I've lived in. It also conducted an out of state search as well. I didn't include my license number on the application, but would it matter seeing that I provided my social security number and name?
