Bachelors to BSN Felician College

I am waiting for the acceptance letter. I called them last Monday and they told me they did not send anyone the A. Letter yet. They are still in the middle of having meetings with the Nursing Faculties/NSR Department because as of January 2010 till now, they are getting numerous applicants. They told me, its just "overwhelming" numbers of students for the ABSN for May 2010.

Hey MMR846,

I recieved a phone call on Wednesday from the Associate Director of Admissions on my acceptance to the program. I am pretty sure that you will be accepted into the program, so dont worry. Keep me posted. Good luck.

i applied for fall. my ba is a low gpa and i am worried. what were gpas?

Im not sure what the traditional nursing degree program requires, in my case it was a 2.99, but my pre-reqs were A's and B's. Good luck.

so i applied to the ABSN because I called to ask if suck thing existed in their school. how did u guys find out about the absn route? they dont seem to be adverticing for it so I am glad i called and found out they do have it. does anyone know the deatils of the program? they told me they r not sre if it wil start in fall or summer. i cant start in summer, i am so confused i hope i get i. have any of u gone to info session? how many cradits is the fist semester for absn. wen will we be scheduled to graduate? please send me all into.. thanks

Wilson, when did u send in all ur application materials. I am very confused because the graduate nursing department told me they didnt know whther the program ABSN would start in the Fall or MAY. I am hoping it starts in Fall because I still have 2 pre reqs to take.

I found out about the Bachelors to BSN through a fellow student at another college i was attending for there ABSN program. She found it advertised in the Nursing Spectrum magazine and end up bringing in FC's curriculum for there program. It starts May 24th and you graduate in November 2011. I sent all my material in Feb. Did you complete your application? If so, the AD of admissions told me that there were students who still have to do a pre-req or two and can do it during the program, you just have to take those classes at FC and now where else, but i think its worth the money.

wow great. she told me to send all my stuff in after looking at my transcript. i hope i get in...i will call this week because i think felician is the perfect school for me. i was hoping i could get a break from school and start in the fall. but if i do get accepted i will be very happy. do you know what the entire time there will cost? ive already paid to take chem at bergen, i wonder if i can tek chem at bergen and the computer course at feleician. the courses we need are AP I and II, micro, chem and computer? is that all and a BA or BS? Since i just applied without a letter explaining pre reqs... i hope we dont need chem. and have u taken the computer course? thats so annoying, i know how to use computers lol..

what pre reqs do we need? sorry, since i never received a letter explaining the details of this program i am very confused. she first looked at my transcript and then told me to apply. did this happen to you? so i am hoping this means i have a good chance of coming in. now that uve been accepted, do u know how much tuition will cost for the entire program? i am registered to take chem this summer at another school, i am hoping i can still take it there since i paid, do we need chem for felician? i am really glad she told u we can take prereqs while in the accelerated program ? really? a lady told me we couldnt bc we needed to start the absn with everything completed. i am glad tho if what u r saying is true because i am missing chem and the technology class. did u take that computer class? so annoying lol..i know how to use a comuter! well pplease let me know any random details about the school. do u know anyone that has graduated from felician? did they find a good job? also how big will the absn class be? what is the schedule like? how many credits at a time? specially this summer? do u have ur schedule yet? this will be crazy for me! i finish school and graduate on the 17th of May.. I wish i could have had a summer break and start in the fall. but ill be very glad if i make it in!!!! congrats on being on the other side already!
