Baby boomer will retire so more healthcare workers are needed???

People keep telling me this and I'm not sure whether this is true or not. Can anyone enlighten me?

We had several nurses retire and then come back as casuals.. Many nurses working until their 60-70's around in BC...We do need a lot of RNs here in BC but the problem is they do not have very many spots and it is still hard to get a job. I'd give it another 10-20 yrs for that statement to come true
